Coordinate the Health
Promotion Program:
- develop and implement health/fitness programs which will encourage and
motivate members and/or stimulate membership growth.
- design and construct informative and creative bulletin boards promoting
national health observances.
- develop annual health promotion plan, including speakers, incentives, and
bulletin board topics.
- write, design, and edit bi-monthly Healthy Matters newsletter.
Maintain cleanliness and
safety of the fitness facility:
- perform daily inspection of facility for proper operation of equipment,
including exercise equipment, stereo equipment, lighting, and heating and
air conditioning units.
- supervise and assist in daily cleaning of equipment and facility.
- ensure adequate cleaning of locker rooms and facility by cleaning
contractor.
Provide daily assistance
to facility members and potential members:
- provide information and facility tours to interested non-members.
- conduct fitness evaluations, orientations, and one-on-one programming
sessions.
- provide floor coverage during peak hours to monitor members' exercise
sessions.
- monitor front desk procedures and organization, including member payments,
and new member sign-ups.
- BS/BA Health Fitness or related field.
- Minimum of three to five years Corporate Fitness Experience.
- Minimum of one year Management Experience.
- Strong organizational/management and communication skills.
- Current CPR certification.
- ACSM, ETT, or HFI certification preferred
- Proficient in Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
